We're seeking a skilled MEP Design Manager who can manage consultancies & oversee subcontractors, ensuring seamless project execution from inception through to completion. While the role is based on-site, we offer some flexibility for home working, depending on project needs.
As the MEP Design Manager, you will be responsible for managing D&B projects across all RIBA stages (0 – 7), from design through to installation, full testing, commissioning, and the successful integration of systems. You will lead the process through to client handover, ensuring all systems meet the highest standards. Your involvement will span key stages, including Pre-Construction, Construction/Testing, and Commissioning, where your expertise will ensure the project runs smoothly and efficiently.

You will also maintain up-to-date records, data, and systems in line with our standards, policies, and procedures.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for reviewing design progress, statutory approvals, and reporting on value engineering, environmental, and compliance issues. You’ll ensure the production of contractor proposals and monitor all design deliverables, from consultant submissions to final client approvals.
To be successful, you'll need a relevant degree in an engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services), a CSCS card, first aid at work certification, and either IOSH or SMSTS. A full UK driving license is required. While not essential, the ability and willingness to travel and stay away from home for short periods could be an advantage.
You'll recieve:
£80,000 - £90,000 a year
Car allowance
Travel Expenses
PMI
If you’re ready to take the lead in design management and want to be part of a dynamic team, we’d love to hear from you
