HR Manager
You are a self-motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for creating a positive workplace culture.
The Role
As an HR Manager you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a productive and positive work environment, overseeing daily office operations, and managing human resources functions. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on professional who can efficiently handle a variety of tasks, from managing office logistics to implementing HR policies that foster a healthy and inclusive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources:
* Support the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, scheduling interviews, and assisting in candidate evaluations.
* Administer onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.
* Manage employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
* Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
* Assist with conducting appraisals and disciplinary proceedings.
* Liaising fully with our external HR advisers to ensure our processes are always up to date and compliant with the employment laws.
Employee Relations:
* Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective communication and engagement initiatives.
* Address employee queries and concerns, acting as a liaison between employees and management.
* Coordinate employee recognition programs and team-building activities.
Benefits Administration:
* Setting up and administering employee benefits programs and perks.
* Facilitate open enrolment processes and communicate benefit changes to employees.
Compliance and Documentation:
* Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR documentation, including employee handbooks and policies.
Office Management:
* Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workplace environment.
* Manage office supplies, equipment, and facilities to meet the needs of the team.
* Coordinate office logistics, including space planning, meetings, and events.
* Act as the point of contact for office-related vendors and service providers.
Minimum Requirements
* 3+ years of proven experience in office management and human resources functions.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Familiarity with HR best practices and employment laws.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Salary and Holiday Entitlement
* Up to £40,000 full time (part time applications will be considered)
* Annual Holiday Entitlement: 29 days
o 20 base
o 1 birthday (included in your full entitlement, can be taken any time)
o 8 bank holidays
* Additional days between Christmas and New Year as the office is closed
