Description PERMANENT ROLE – CLASS 2 DRIVER – ANY 4 or 5 OVER 7 - £38,240.62 PER ANNUM Wincanton is offering the opportunity for an experienced Class 2 Lorry Driver to join our prestigious client New Look, as part of the delivery team out of Lymedale, Newcastle under Lyme. Deliveries are in totes and hanging sets, using a vehicle tail lift to stores, handball involved, ensuring that goods are delivered on time, offloaded in the correct manner, paperwork is completed, and any agreed recycling/empty totes etc are collected and returned to the DC. £38,240.63 per annum Good driver/attendance and accident bonus 48 hours per week contract Shift Pattern any 4 or 5 over 7 Start times available: varies daily between 11:00-19:00 How will you contribute? Average 8 store delivery drops per shift. Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately with attention to detail. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement and delivery of our customers’ products. Adhering to safe working practices to ensure the safety of yourself and others at all times. Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Driver’s Hours and Working Time Directive requirements (opt-out available). Responsible for the Health and Safety of themselves and others, completion of dynamic risk assessments, adhering to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act, including accident, incident, and damage reporting. To ensure contractual KPI’s over the delivery of the product is undertaken in both a legally compliant and health and safety manner. Attending any relevant training as required to ensure you remain fully equipped to perform your role effectively and to assist in the development of continuous improvement. Keep the vehicle you use clean, tidy, and well cared for, so it is ready to be used the next day. What will you bring?
