This permanent role focuses on Systems Engineering within the Defence industry, ensuring the design and lifecycle management of critical products.
Key Responsibilities:
Capture agreed technical requirements in accordance with company and programme processes
Deliver compliant technical solutions against contractual requirements and regulations
Provide engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM) adherence for all deliverables, Subcontract Design Reviews, and relevant input to project LCM activities
Deliver design change requirements and documentation in accordance with company processes
Provide specialist technical input, review and support into projects beyond the immediate scope
Leverage systems experience and knowledge in both the tactical and strategic development of engineers and supporting functions
Provide technical support to integrated performance and acceptance activities
Work with various engineering teams to improve domain knowledge and guide junior members
Job Requirements:
Essential:
STEM Degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an engineering background
Experience in Systems Engineering, including tools such as IBM DOORS and extensive experience with Enterprise Architect
Experience in leading small teams
Experience in the relevant industry
Knowledge and expertise in Systems Engineering processes and practices, including V model-based experienceDesirable:
Obtained or capable of obtaining relevant Professional Registration (CEng)
