Registered Manager – Two-Bedded Children's Home (Leicester)
We are seeking a passionate, committed, and experienced Registered Manager to lead a two-bedded children’s home in Leicester, providing care for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing individual and team performance to maintain a high standard of care.
* Monitoring, managing, and accounting for all expenditures.
* Designing, reviewing, and implementing effective care plans.
* Ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
* Leading staff development, including supervision, appraisals, and training.
* Managing staff schedules and rotas effectively.
* Maintaining the home to exceptional standards.
* Supporting staff in achieving Level 3/4 Diploma qualifications and participating in in-house training programs.
Requirements:
* Extensive knowledge of children’s homes regulations and current legislation.
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a children’s residential care setting, ideally in a managerial or deputy managerial role.
* NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent), or willingness to complete this qualification.
* Strong understanding of child development and the ability to operate a home rated as Good or Outstanding.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining high standards of care.
