To provide a comprehensive administration and clerical support service to an identified service. To include the organisation of clerical workload, management of records and related documents, reception and call handling duties.
This will include dealing with queries from other Trust colleagues, patients, relatives and carers, inputting and updating data relating to the service and working with partners for the service delivery.
RDaSH are offering this post along side the opportunity for you to complete an apprenticeship qualification [relevant to your role]. As an apprentice within RDaSH you will be given the opportunity to gain experience, learn work-related skills and obtain all the tools needed to thrive.
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. Around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying. This leads to a nationally recognised qualification.

· Provide a confidential, quality administrative service to an identified service area.
· Display and maintain high levels of customer service at all times, ensuring all users have a positive experience at their point of contact.
· Answer telephone calls as per agreed protocols.
· To undertake all IT requirements, utilising Microsoft Office packages and other electronic systems including ESR, Trac, SystmOne
· Assist in the production of high-quality documentation, using electronic systems such as Microsoft Word.
· Maintain, scan and file paper or digital records and information as appropriate, in line with records management principles.
· Liaise between various stakeholders including patients, Trust colleagues and other multi-agency partners as required.
· To communicate effectively, accurately and professionally, applying discretion and empathy where necessary, with written, telephone and face to face contact, with patients, visitors, other Trust colleagues and external agencies.
· Deal with telephone enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, recording messages as per agreed systems and escalating as per protocols.
· Maintain local booking systems, such as appointments, assessments and group clinics.
· To open and distribute post appropriately.
· Deal with incoming and outgoing paper work as appropriate.
