We are seeking an experienced Purchasing Assistant with a strong background in HVAC systems, specifically in the procurement of spare parts for heating systems. Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the procurement manager with day to day ordering of HVAC spare parts for heating systems.
2. Source, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors for HVAC equipment and components.
3. Ensure the availability of high-quality heating system parts and components to meet operational requirements.
4. Track and maintain accurate inventory of HVAC parts, ensuring timely replenishment.
5. Work closely with the technical and operations teams to assess spare parts requirements.
6. Ensure all purchasing processes comply with company policies and procedures.
7. Maintain detailed records of purchases, shipments, and inventory status.
8. Assist in reviewing contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
Required Qualifications:
1. Proven experience working in a Purchasing Assistant or similar role within the HVAC industry.
2. In-depth knowledge of spare parts for heating systems and their specifications.
3. Proficient in using purchasing software and tools, with excellent attention to detail.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage deadlines.
6. A problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Desired Skills:
1. Knowledge of heating systems and their components (e.g., boilers, radiators, heat pumps, thermostats, etc.).
2. Experience with inventory management and purchasing software.
3. Ability to perform market research and identify the best suppliers.
4. Good understanding of quality control processes for HVAC parts.
