Job Summary
The role is responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of the managed services contracts and their sales operations processes. An understanding of contracted services and CDW’s internal systems is fundamental to the role.
The role will involve developing relationships with internal business areas and suppliers. You must be a confident communicator at all levels and work well as part of a team. Primarily responsible for assisting account managers, BDMs and customers with quote generation, pricing queries and contract onboarding. Attention to detail and familiarity with vendor tools and systems is critical for this role. Working closely within the wider MSSO team and pre-sales, the role will support the management of ongoing target metrics related to the attachment of associated services.
The position will report to the MSSO Team Leader, but will have relationships with sales, pre-sales, MSSO, service management and service transition departments.
Key responsibilities
* Quote generation for managed service contracts
* Production of managed services contracts of varying size and complexity
* Following order processes using vendor tools
* Dealing with sub-contractors and 3rd parties
* Liaise with purchasing and contract management teams for ordering of any 3rd party services
* Ongoing administration of existing contracts
* Maintain, manage and grow spend in targeted renewals
* Liaising with internal departments to confirm vital contract information
* Use of internal tools for account management and order processing (Microsoft Navision, CRM, Great Plains)
* General administration responsibilities to support sales and pre-sales departments
* Establishing and developing peer to peer relationships within key vendors
* Feedback on any operational issues that are preventing the continued growth and improvement of associated services
* Provide feedback and openly embrace the future introduction of any additional vendors or services that are closely associated with existing activity
* Assist with report generation for management, including: Pipeline, Forecast Contract loss and cause
* Any additional activity as directed by management
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Must Have:
* Experience working in a commercial environment preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Understanding the importance of accurate reporting
* Strong verbal and written communication skills - must be a confident communicator at all levels.
* Knowledge of internal tools and systems (Navision, Great Plains, CRM Dynamics, Microsoft Office suite).
* Experience of working in Microsoft Excel is desirable
* Consistency and accuracy in data keying with high attention to detail.
