About The Role
As a Senior Office 365 Applications Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our business and technology teams, as well as The Health Informatics Services (THIS) customers, through their Microsoft 365 migration journey. Beyond implementation, you will help organisations maximise the value of their investment by championing the adoption of cutting-edge cloud technologies.
In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, working closely with managers to understand their evolving ways of working and ensuring technology aligns seamlessly with their needs. Your expertise will help shape utilisation strategies, best practices, and innovative solutions that drive efficiency and transformation.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support
* Serve as a key point of contact for managers, offering expert guidance on technology utilisation, setup, and optimisation.
* Collaborate with IT leadership, technical teams, Programme Management Office, and wider stakeholders to develop and implement business-aligned solutions.

Working for our organisation
We employ more than 6,500 staff who deliver compassionate care from our two main hospitals, Calderdale Royal Hospital and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, as well as in community sites, health centres and in patients' homes. We also are incredibly proud to have almost 150 volunteers here at CHFT.
We provide a range of services including urgent and emergency care; medical; surgical; maternity; gynaecology; critical care; children's and young people's services; end of life care and outpatient and diagnostic imaging services.

* Act on Cloud Technology Requirements
* Advise on Microsoft 365 Best Practices Provide expert guidance to customers on the optimal utilisation and setup of Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, OneDrive, Intune, SharePoint Exchange Online, and mobile device integration.
* Ensure Compliance with DCB1596 Standards Oversee the technical maintenance of DCB1596 compliance, including collaboration with external testing providers to meet regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate on Change Control and IT Security
* Support Data Protection & Information Governance Partner with IT Data Protection teams to ensure that any long-term data retention needs are supported by appropriate backup solutions. Ensure data recovery processes align with Information Governance and records management policies.
* Maintain Operational Health of Microsoft 365
* Microsoft 365 Administration & Support
* Oversee SharePoint & Web Development Integrations
