Senior Digital Communications Officer SO1 ( 33,366 - 37,938) 37 Hours, Full Time - This role forms part of the On Call Communications Rota which operates Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays from 8am to 8pm. A standby allowance is paid for each shift. The postholder will be on the rota approximately 6 weekends a year. Permanent Hybrid - Stopford House and home working Application Deadline: 11:59pm 5th January 2025 Shortlisting Date: 6th January 2025 Interview Date: 9th January 2025 Interview Type: Microsoft Teams Your Role We are looking for a Senior Digital Communications Officer who will be responsible for creating, evaluating, updating and reviewing digital communications and marketing content on all platforms and channels including the council s websites, social media accounts and digital newsletters. You ll work collaboratively with colleagues from other disciplines in multidisciplinary teams. You ll be working with us to produce high quality communications that are easy for people to engage with on the right channel for them and that meet brand and style guidelines. About You You will be experienced in content management and social media and capable of creating accessible content for diverse audiences. You will have the ability to work within a team, supporting projects and provide mentoring support to junior team members. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage workloads and make informed decisions while adhering to guidelines.
