Pertemps are working with a local school who are seeking to appoint a temporary Head of Kitchen.Duties:Supervision of the unit including monitoring hygiene standardsStaff training and all day to day operations of the kitchenUndertake and/or lead a team where appropriate in the preparation, cooking and service mealsAdministrative work, including placing orders, stock control and monitoring of food budgets.Checking and recording the amount, price and condition of all food/non-food deliveries and taking any necessary action required.To take responsibility for the standards of cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen premises and equipment whilst maintaining sufficient stock levels of cleaning materials.Qualifications:Food Hygiene Level 3 requiredEnhanced DBSPrevious experience within a similar roleHours:Monday to Friday8:45am - 1:45pm£13 per hourPlease apply if you meet the above criteria with your CV or email
