The Role The school seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position, requiring flexibility to work across all age ranges in the primary phase (EYFS, KS1, and KS2). As a TA3, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers, delivering interventions, and contributing to the development of a positive learning environment. This position is covering a long term period of absence and will continue until the end of March 2025. Key Responsibilities: Support class teachers in planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons. Lead small group interventions, including literacy, numeracy, and SEN support. Work closely with individual pupils to support their specific educational needs. Assist in the preparation of resources and classroom displays. Monitor and record pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required. Support the delivery of creative and inclusive activities across the curriculum. Foster a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children. Supervise pupils during break times, lunchtime, and school trips. About You To be successful in this role, you will: Hold a Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance (or equivalent). Have experience working with primary-aged children, ideally across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. Be adaptable, proactive, and able to work collaboratively with colleagues. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Show a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
