Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems, ensuring seamless operations across various platforms. This role is crucial for assisting users with technical issues and contributing to the overall efficiency of our IT department.
Duties
* Provide first-line IT support to staff, addressing hardware and software issues promptly.
* Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, including desktops and laptops.
* Troubleshoot networking issues.
* Support users on various software packages.
* Manage user accounts.
* Conduct routine checks on computer networking equipment to ensure optimal performance.
* Document technical procedures and maintain an inventory of IT assets.
* Collaborate with senior IT staff on projects and system upgrades.
Skills
* Proficiency in providing IT support across multiple platforms.
* Strong understanding of computer networking concepts.
* Experience with desktop support and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to effectively assist users in a friendly manner.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual tasks efficiently.
* Must have a full UK driving license.
