We’re looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team for 18 months. The core purpose of this role is to cover an Assistant Management Accountant on their maternity leave. This is a full-time role, based at our Head Office in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. We also operate a Hybrid Working Policy. Volunteering Leave equating to 2 days per year (pro rata if you’re part-time) Duties will include: Direct involvement in monthly management reporting for the firm, including variance analysis. Reporting and analysis of Work-In-Progress. Preparation of the monthly Management Pack for the Operational Board. Assisting in production of the monthly forecast. Assisting in production of the annual budget. Assisting the FP&A team as required with various projects, for example implementation of the finance dashboards in PowerBI and financial planning software Vena. Ad hoc reports and tasks as required. The successful candidate will have Previous experience in the management accounting type role is desired. Be a strong team player with the ability to work to your own initiative. Excellent communication skills at a variety of levels. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, specifically pivot tables, formulas, V- and H-lookups, IF statements. Strong attention to detail. Be comfortable manipulating a large volume of data. Confidence with a friendly personality. Why Fisher German?
