We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Society Secretary who will report into the Company Secretary. The rolesincluding coordinating all inputs from the business, preparing agendas, circulating papers, live minuting meetings and supporting the Executive Team on actions arising from meetings If you are passionate about governance and looking to make a significant impact in a respected organisation, we want to hear from you About you Key to this role isbuilding and maintaining effective professional relationships both for personal success in the role and the Secretarial Functions credibility To be successful in this role its essential you have: Were looking for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You'll be a legally qualified solicitor/barrister or CGI/ICSA qualified ( or equivalent ), with significant experience in company secretarial duties. Extensive experience as a company secretary or assistant company secretary in a regulated industry You'll have strong interpersonal skills for building effective relationships and communicating with colleagues at all levels. You must possess excellent drafting and research skills to prepare clear materials for Executive and Board-level audiences, alongside strong analytical abilities to interpret information swiftly. A hands-on approach is necessary to manage competing priorities in a dynamic setting, and a flexible attitude will help you develop your governance knowledge while supporting other teams as needed.
