The postholder will: Lead the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS), together with the Director of Maternity, Women, Children and Young People Services/Deputy SRO to improve the health of women/birthing people and babies in Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West, and ensure that work streams and programmes are planned and carried out effectively. Lead the provision of an efficient, effective and high quality professional and co-ordinated LMNS delivery and transformation programme, ensuring all statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements related to the provision of services are met. They will provide assurance and reports to BOB ICB and through relevant Boards and committees across and external to the organisation. Work collaboratively with quality, safeguarding, patient safety and inequalities programme leads in the ICB; providers, wider system partners and service users to enable delivery of the national maternity and neonatal single delivery plan and the LMNS delivery and transformation programme. Work collaboratively with workforce leads in the ICB and provider Directors/Heads of Midwifery to enable delivery of the NHSE Long Term Workforce Plan. Lead programmes of work in relation to improving womens health linked with the National Womens Health Strategy, system wide strategy, local initiatives and the maternity and neonatal single delivery plan (where relevant).
