You will lead the management of all aspects of allocated projects and will be supported by the by a multi-disciplinary team in the UK, US and Australia. This role forms the UK leadership of a Defence programme and will be vital to the effective management of the UK and US customer relationships whilst also ensuring project delivery, tracking key KPIs, integrating multiple supplier schedules as developing a long-term strategy, plans and business cases, in conjunction with the US and UK teams. The Programme Manager will manage projects across all phases of the lifecycle, including shaping future UK element as it evolved. Responsibilities: Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management Support the US Programme Manager by helping to manage project relationships, including partners, suppliers, and beneficiaries, in line with agreements, supplier code of conduct and best practice stakeholder management and contract management. These relationships will be managed through effective collaboration across the stakeholder community to ensure delivery objectives are meet. To launch, organise, plan, document and effectively manage the execution and conclusion of all allocated projects which form part of our commitments, all within baselined schedule and budget Implement, maintain and manage all elements of project management including: value, scope, quality, procurement, time, finance, human resource, risk, opportunities and communications. We are looking for: Essential qualifications / experience Must have well developed experience in the delivery of major defence infrastructure programmes. Good working knowledge of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation and developed network. Knowledge of UK Building Control Regulations Project Management Experience, minimum of 10 years Team Leadership Customer Management across multiple nations Preferred qualifications / experience PMP, Prince 2, or APM equivalent Defence Infrastructure Earned Value Management UK Health and Safety US Federal Acquisition pathway Security clearance: You must be able to gain and maintain the relevant UK Government security clearance in line with the job role (SC).
