Contracts Manager - Water Treatment

Randstad are looking for a Contracts Manager with water treatment experience!
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established specialist subcontractor, managing multiple contracts for major water companies such as Southern Water and Thames Water.
With over 30 years of expertise, my client delivers high-quality services across the water sector. This role offers a blend of office-based, site, and remote working, with a company car or car allowance included.
The Role
You will oversee a specialist services workstream, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.
You'll be responsible for:
Managing supervisors, site teams, and office staff to drive successful project outcomes.
Acting as the main client liaison, ensuring strong relationships and smooth project delivery.
Conducting site surveys and fact-finding to support the preparation of quotations and tenders.
Overseeing procurement, commercial decision-making, and project profitability.
Managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Supporting the development of site and office teams, fostering growth and progression.
Ensuring accurate documentation and reporting for client presentations.
Assisting with CAD drawings and specifications when required.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in contract management within the water industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams across multiple projects.
A solid understanding of procurement, commercial management, and client relations.
Qualifications including CSCS Card (preferred), IOSH Managing Safely/SMSTS, and industry-related NVQ.
Experience with CAD is beneficial but not essential.
