Commissioning Engineer
We are currently seeking hardworking, resourceful candidates to join our dynamic team as a Commissioning Engineer. A key activity for this role will be to commission and support site-based control systems and equipment for one of our key clients. This predominantly involves the commissioning of PLC, HMI, and SCADA to tight deadlines. You will be working as part of a team to commission updated installations and provide site support and supervision during the installation and commissioning period. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is completed to the highest standard within agreed deadlines.
Full time position: 08:30 – 17:15 (Monday to Thursday) and 8:30 - 16:00 (Fridays)
What we are looking for:
1. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years practical experience and ideally a solid understanding of electrical diagrams for control panel wiring, electrical installation, and commissioning.
2. The role requires a self-motivated, practical problem solver with good communication skills.
3. Electrical qualifications C&G, BTEC, NVQ3, ONC or HNC/HND, 18th edition required.
4. Previous experience in a service & support, electrical installation, or commissioning role.
5. Control Panel design and Panel building experience would be beneficial.
6. Knowledge or experience with PLCs such as Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, or Siemens.
7. Experience of equipment installation and commissioning.
8. Clean UK Driving License.
9. Must be eligible to work in the UK.
