No shift will be the same, you will play a key role supporting customers on the platforms with general enquiries, ticket inspections, working with travel safe officers for special events to crowd manage our platforms and keep everyone safe. As a new CSR your first two weeks will be attending our training programme, gaining knowledge on the role of a CSR, meeting the team, learning our network to support customers and how to use the portable hand held devices. Help deter anti-social behaviour by being a visible presence on the system and working with Greater Manchester Police and British Transport Police on crime-related issues. Provide effective crowd control, signposting, and customer care at special events in and around the city centre. What you’ll bring: Excellent customer service skills and a customer-centric background Be able to work flexibly on shift patterns that include evenings and weekends Adapt quickly to changing operational situations and demands Excellent written and verbal communication skills Make decisions quickly and accurately under pressure and have the confidence to deal with difficult situations and large groups of people What we will offer you: An annual salary of £24,629. A permanent, full-time (37.5 per week) contract.
