The Allocations Officer (Level 6) plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective allocation of resources within the organization. This position is responsible for managing the distribution of goods, services, and personnel in a manner that maximizes operational efficiency and supports organizational goals. The successful candidate will be required to analyze data related to resource availability and demand, collaborate with various departments to understand their needs, and make informed decisions that align with the organization's strategic objectives. The Allocations Officer will also oversee the implementation of allocation plans, monitor their progress, and make necessary adjustments to respond to changing circumstances. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential, as the officer will frequently be required to assess complex scenarios and predict future resource requirements. Responsibilities
Manage and optimize the allocation of resources including funds, personnel, and materials according to organizational priorities.
Analyze data to assess resource availability, demand forecasts, and utilization rates to inform allocation decisions.
Collaborate with department heads to identify resource needs and develop allocation plans that meet both immediate and long-term goals.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of allocation strategies, making adjustments as needed to enhance performance.
Establish and maintain processes and procedures related to resource allocation and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on allocation metrics and trends for senior management and stakeholders.
Provide training and support to staff on allocation processes and systems to facilitate effective implementation.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, logistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in resource allocation, project management, or a similar role.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with diverse groups.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Understanding of budget management and financial reporting principles.

Pay Per Hour: £13.05
