Job Duties:
* Provide one-on-one tutoring for Key Stage 3 students in Looked After Care (LAC)
* Create and implement personalised learning plans based on individual student needs
* Assist students in developing academic skills and achieving learning objectives
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and their guardians
* Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to support student learning and development
Required Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with students in Looked After Care (LAC) or similar settings
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Previous experience working as a tutor or teacher in a educational setting
Knowledge and Skills:
* Knowledge of Key Stage 3 curriculum and educational standards
* Ability to assess student learning needs and develop appropriate teaching strategies
* Strong classroom management skills
* Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning
Preferred Qualifications:
* Postgraduate qualification in Education or relevant field
* Experience working with diverse student populations
* Additional training in special education or learning support
Working Conditions:
The role involves working with students in a classroom or learners home setting. Part-Time hours are expected, with flexibility required to accommodate student schedules.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
