Senior SaaS Sales Representative
The Senior SaaS Sales Representative is responsible for selling our Software and Services and reports to the General Manager. It will be the Senior SaaS Sales Representative's role to ensure that all agreed sales targets are met, or exceeded, in the UK region.
The Senior SaaS Sales representative will generate new business through direct selling to leads (both provided and sourced), cold calling, conducting sales campaigns and networking with contacts in the industry.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the Company’s product portfolio and awareness of competitor products
2. Maintaining an awareness of industry trends
3. Learn, adopt and adhere to the company sales guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs). This includes maintaining and developing the Company’s CRM database in accordance with company standards and developing accurate, high quality and professional sales documentation and correspondence templates
4. Assist with devising and implementing lead generation activities, as required. Qualify, develop and manage a lead through to sales conversion, whether sourced or provided by companies. Respond to and follow up all sales enquiries using appropriate methods as per the SOP
5. Develop and maintain a sales pipeline of sufficient size to achieve agreed sales targets
6. Ensure all monthly sales targets (KPIs) set by management and agreed on in advance are met or exceeded. This will necessitate some or all of the following activities:
7. Identify the needs and wants of a potential customer
8. Present the Company solution without misrepresentation
9. Demonstrate software solutions and associated products in person or over the Internet
10. Handle objections from potential sales opportunities
11. Prepare and present quotations/proposals to sales opportunities
12. Negotiate and close sales
13. Fulfil reporting requirements to the Sales Manager according to the deadlines set for the Department
14. Maximise profit on all potential sales opportunities
15. Provide excellent customer service to clients over the phone or in person
16. Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills
17. Establish and maintain strategic relationships, alliances and networks within the industry (or any other vertical market) as well as with other key stakeholders to generate sales leads
18. Attend industry trade shows as directed by the management team from time to time
19. Participate in regular team meetings
20. Perform any other duties related to the promotion, sales and delivery of the products, or related third-party products, as directed by the management team from time to time
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
21. Proven 5 years + experience selling SaaS software solutions, preferably within the sport and fitness industry
22. Hold a degree or relevant qualification is desirable
23. Proven record in selling business application software
24. Relevant professional sales training and experience
25. Strong negotiation skills and ability to close sales
26. Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
27. The ability to build and foster business relationships
28. Good understanding of technology and how it is applied in business
29. A moderate degree of computer literacy and technical competency
30. Demonstrable evidence of organizing customer accounts and projection implementation
31. High degree of self-motivation
