Humberside Police are looking for a highly motivated individual to join them in their busy Digital Services Department.
As the Digital Services Support Officer, you will assist with the work of the Digital Services Command by supporting and contributing to the delivery of the force Digital Strategy.
The post holder will be required to create reports from digital information, ensuring the information is accurate and communicated in an understandable way whilst responding to queries from internal staff and external partners.
The successful candidate will establish and maintain networks and professional relationships with internal and/or external partners at all levels of seniority to ensure appropriate information sharing in support of a timely response and to achieve shared objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
To provide efficient and effective clerical and administrative support service to the Digital Services Command.
Provide project support to the wider Command, this will entail maintaining, updating and communicating project documentation.
To assist in the delivery of a variety of projects and research-based activities, including the use of relevant software and computerised databases.
Gather, research and evaluate information on various solutions to exploit opportunities to develop systems and further drive innovation across the Command and force.
Support the administration and governance processes of the Command including organising, and where appropriate, attending meetings in order to provide a support and facilitation service ensuring necessary documentation is prepared and circulated within required timescales.
To attend meetings with staff in the Command, where necessary, to ensure comprehensive minute and action tracking.
Support the Command SLT in the continuous improvement of the business benefits realisation framework and supporting plans.

What the role requires:
Experience of maintaining databases and researching data from computerised recording systems.
Knowledge and experience of supporting digital change and improvement work.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to plan, organise and prioritise multiple activities, escalating as and when appropriate.
Knowledge and a working experience of formal project management methodologies
Computer literacy/keyboard skills
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision when required.
Carries out tasks in an accurate and methodical manner with an eye for detail.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to prioritise workload.
