Main duties of the job
Providespecialist psychologicalassessmentsforservice-users referred to psychological services in Havering basedupon the appropriate use,interpretation andintegration of highlycomplex, sensitive and data.
To lead on providing group-based and individual art psychotherapy interventionsto service usersreferred to the PPs in MHWTs in Havering
To provideinterventionsin amannerthatis consistent withevidence-basedpractice.
Implement a range of highly specialist psychological interventions forindividuals and groups.
To haveorganisationalknowledgerelatingtoTrust protocolsand procedures and adheretothem.

Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period.
NELFT place great importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,313 to a maximum of £5,436 pro rata for part time).

This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £1,192 to a maximum of £2,011 pro rata for part time).

9. Experience of ensuring equality of access and acceptable intervention to diverse populations.

12. Thorough knowledge of the theory and practice of evidence based interventions for people presenting with complex Mood Anxiety and Personality difficulties.
13. knowledge of the theory and practice of group psychotherapy
14. Theory and practice of specialised psychological therapies for a broad range of complex Mood Anxiety and Personality difficulties (treatment resistant depression, complex trauma, OCD, BDD, personality disorder)
15. Well-developed knowledge and skills in the use of complex methods of psychological assessment, intervention and management.

16. Capacity to work psychotherapeutically on a group basis with a person with severe and enduring mental health problems and who is experiencing psychological distress
