Rate of Pay: £34.00 - £45.73 per Hour
Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated NEC4 Site Supervisor to support the delivery of the Banwell Bypass infrastructure project. You will be the Councils representative on site, responsible for inspections, quality assurance, and managing the defect process in line with the NEC4 ECC contract.
This operationally-focused role is ideal for a candidate with strong highways construction knowledge and a proactive, collaborative approach to project delivery.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain daily on-site presence and ensure works meet specification, safety, and environmental standards.
* Collaborate with the D&B contractor and Project Team to conduct inspections and resolve issues.
* Identify and manage defects, issuing relevant notifications.
* Monitor compliance with ITPs, RAMS, CPP, environmental and safety controls.
* Provide detailed weekly and monthly quality reports.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
* Valid CSCS Card.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
Experience Required:
* Highways construction experience with knowledge of methods and site supervision.
* Experience with the NEC contract, especially ECC Supervisor duties.
* Solid understanding of CDM regulations and health & safety compliance.
* Experience working collaboratively with contractors and project teams.
