Humanities Teacher- Biggleswade – Long-term
Tick Education are seeking a committed and passionate Humanities Teacher to support a secondary school in need of long-term cover form January. The role is based in Biggleswade. The school has good transport links and parking facilities. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm and innovative teaching strategies to engage students and foster a deep appreciation for the humanities subject.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum across various humanities subjects.
• Create an engaging and interactive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and discussion.
• Assess and evaluate student performance, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary programs and initiatives.
• Mentor students in their academic pursuits and personal development.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and community outreach activities.
Requirements:
• Degree level or higher in a relevant humanities subject
• QTS or PGCE
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
