You will join us on a full time, permanent basis in return for a competitive salary of £ 34,124.58 per annum working 40 hours per week. There is also the opportunity to earn extra in call out payments. Black Country Homeforce is our in-house building maintenance team that operates throughout Birmingham and the Black Country. The successful applicant will be responsible for the co-ordination of materials and plant in order to maximise the effectiveness of building maintenance work undertaken. The work will involve all aspects of the repair process from the initial receipt of a general works order to satisfactory completion of works on site Specific tasks of the role include, but are not limited to: - To execute works in accordance with trade qualifications and assist other trade operatives to fulfil their work orders - Ensure works completed are to the highest standard and are correctly completed first time as reasonably practicable - Participate as a multi skilled operative in the delivery of an effective out of hours’ emergency repair service on a rota system - Ensure all KPI's are met including productivity levels, quality of work, 'right first time', recalls and appointments kept.
