Sales Negotiator
Scarborough
£25,000 - £27,000 base salary (depending on experience)
£32,000 OTE
Monday - Friday, 1 in 3 Saturdays

As a Sales Negotiator, you will be responsible for booking valuations, viewings, maintaining customer records, and achieving sales targets. You must have sound knowledge of, and experience in sales and customer service. The individual must provide unrivalled levels of customer service whilst building relationships at all levels and achieving results. You will actively demonstrate the ability to expand and develop the current role and add value to the office and the company.
Principal Responsibilities
1. Achieve all sales targets
2. Liaise on a day-to-day basis with customers and satisfy then exceed customer enquiries
3. Book viewings using IT system
4. Complete customer records and update records in IT system
5. Conduct accompanied viewings with clients and establish needs
6. Encourage second viewings; offers etc. where appropriate
7. Enter customer viewing feedback on to IT system
8. Generate offers
9. Adhering to legislation progress offers to sale and completion
10. Generate new business by booking valuation appointments
11. Build relationships with colleagues and clients
12. Manage and maintain on a daily basis all administrative systems and procedures
13. Liaise with clients and solicitors as appropriate to deliver excellent customer service
14. Maintain an excellent standard of company records
15. Work closely with other third party operators where appropriate to exceed customer expectations
16. Administer all responsibilities in the most cost-effective way and always operate within approved budgets and Company Policies
17. Communicate the Company vision and values where appropriate to all customers and third parties
Decision Making Authority
Without Reference to the Manager
* The day-to-day management of time and activities to achieve objectives
* The management of all expenditure within agreed budget
* Interface with customers and suppliers on a daily basis
* The execution of Appraisals and Personal Development Plans
With Reference to the Manager
* Any expenditure/agreements outside the ‘norm’
* Sign off for new projects/initiatives prior to implementation
* Development of new market opportunities
Experience / Qualities Required
* Previous experience within Estate Agency sales
* Full UK driving licence
* Strong communicator both verbal and written/Numerate/Well organised
* Results orientated/Self-motivated/Team player
* Persuasive with high energy level but reliable and committed
* Ideally already demonstrated excellent customer service
