Reporting to the MD, the Comms and Content Strategist will advise our clients on how to tell their stories through impactful content and communications. You’ll bring a strategic mindset and a holistic approach that allows you to work with clients to uncover and share their business, thought leadership, people, purpose, culture and values stories. You’ll identify the most effective channels and the most innovative formats to convince and convert their desired target audience to drive results.
You could work across a variety of sectors and accounts, which cover various audience and activation types – from B2B, employer brand and internal comms to non-profit. There’s never a dull day and you’ll get to apply your creative thinking to an exciting range of challenges.
Projects could include strategic activities such as:
* Content and comms strategy and planning
* Content and comms audits and competitor research
* Email marketing and nurture journey strategy and planning
* Value proposition, vision, mission creation - including research, workshops and strategic positioning
* Tone of Voice guidance
* PR and media strategy and planning
As well as potential creative and journalistic copywriting such as:
* Video: Video script writing and concept development
* Long form content: Thought leadership, whitepaper, blog and article production
* Toolkits and guides
You will partner closely with the Chaos client account and creative/design teams. You’ll be client facing, considered a trusted expert and collaborate with multiple partners and stakeholders both internally and externally.
Your key responsibilities:
It is your responsibility to advise Chaos clients on the best comms and content principles for success. You will need to show initiative and skills that demonstrate your comms and content expertise. This includes being laser-focused on the target audience, following the latest content trends, having an understanding of measurement and KPIs, and having an eagle eye for detail for quality assurance. Ultimately, you are a subject matter expert providing trusted advice, on a scale that can be multi-national, multi-faceted, and at the highest organisational levels. You’ll play a key role in inputting comms and content solutions and will embrace ideation and innovation thinking.

You will need to demonstrate experience in:
* Writing and presenting a comms or content strategy and plan
* Conducting a content or comms audit
* Client relationships
* The importance of data and reporting, and how to set KPIs and monitor performance of content to drive optimisation
* How to use PR, Social Media, Paid Media and events to deliver content. Know how paid/ owned/ earned can be used to achieve different objectives
