Role Overview:
This unique lucrative role is for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing injuries as a result of low-level road traffic accidents, the psychological condition of individuals seeking Immigration or Asylum, and producing the relevant expert medical reports.
The part-time role will be paid £70,000 on a pro-rata basis.
Responsibilities:
* Take history and perform an assessment to understand if current symptoms relate to a specific incident or are exacerbated by pre-existing conditions.
* Perform IQ and memory assessments.
* Formulate an opinion based on the above.
* Assess and produce expert medical reports with clear explanation and treatment plan.
* Ensure that all reports are objective, accurate, timely, and in compliance with the relevant regulations and guidelines.
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection regulations.
* Communicate effectively with clients, solicitors, and other healthcare professionals as necessary.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements:
* HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist with at least 1 year’s experience.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
* Ability to work autonomously.
* No previous medical report writing experience necessary as training will be provided.
