The Role:
Our client is on the lookout for an inspirational Registered Manager to lead one of their children's homes catering to children with EBD. This role offers the chance to significantly impact young lives through leadership and care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership: Direct the home's operations, ensuring compliance with OFSTED standards and promoting a culture of excellence.
* Care Delivery: Implement and oversee therapeutic care practices to achieve positive outcomes for children.
* Team Management: Guide, train, and develop staff towards achieving QCF Level 3 or higher qualifications.
* Safeguarding: Uphold the highest standards of child protection and safeguarding.
* Operational Oversight: Manage financials, facility maintenance, and regulatory compliance.
* Community Liaison: Foster relationships with local services to enhance community integration for the children.
Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a senior management role within children's residential care.
* Qualifications:
* Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
* Working towards or having completed Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People).
* Strong grasp of OFSTED requirements, child care laws, and safeguarding protocols.
* Demonstrated leadership with an emphasis on staff development and performance.
* Proficient in budget management.
