Closing date: 19 January 2025 at midnight
This is a rare opportunity for a digital producer to join a sector-leading team creating exciting and accessible films and audio documentaries that connect audiences worldwide with Tate’s collection and exhibition programme.
This is a fixed term (maternity cover) vacancy in Tate’s Digital Content team, which sits within the Digital department. The Content team creates rich digital content about art in our collection and our exhibition programme to help reach new, broad, and more diverse audiences, especially those who are new to art. This might be a filmed visit to an artist’s studio published on our YouTube channel, a web page providing important information for visitors, or a free interactive drawing experience in one of Tate’s four galleries. It’s a team of producers and storytellers, finding interesting, accessible and inclusive ways to share Tate’s collection with the world.
You will be a confident and creative producer, with experience making shortform video and audio content for non-specialist audiences. You will be a skilled project manager, adept at building and leading crews large and small, creating and managing budgets, and with technical understanding of film and audio equipment. You will be an excellent collaborator and communicator, able to put artists and other contributors at ease when they are in front of the camera. Access and inclusion should be among your top priorities as a producer, and you’ll have a strong track record of creating content that can be enjoyed by broad and diverse audiences.
Tate is a creative, diverse, welcoming environment full of passionate and dedicated people. This is a unique opportunity to join us and help create digital content for one of the world’s leading arts organisations.
This position is offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
