Job Title : Field Service IT Support Location : Derby, UK ( 5 Days Onsite) Job Type : Permanent Salary : 40,000 to 50,000 Job Summary : Duties and Responsibilities : Provide Workstation Services (Desktop, Laptop, Monitor, Printer): Hardware troubleshooting, break-fix support, and custom image creation/testing. Configure new laptops/workstations; manage EUC Device Refresh (BAU/project-based). Collaborate with vendors/managed services for system maintenance and deployments. OS/Application Management : Windows migrations, SCCM-based upgrades, and customized image deployment. Printer/Conference Room Support : Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Windows, Office, VPN, and O365 configuration/troubleshooting. Network Support : Diagnose DNS/DHCP/VPN, TCP/IP, and network connectivity issues. Resolve IP configuration and user-end network problems. Security & Compliance : Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, folder access, and hardware security compliance. Mobility & Device Management : EMM/MDM : AirWatch, Intune, Azure enrollment and mobile device management. Service Management : Handle 5 20 daily ServiceNow tickets (Level 1 2); escalate to Level 3 as needed. Perform IMAC (Installs, Moves, Adds, Changes) for hardware/software packages. Maintain Knowledge Management systems with documented solutions. Additional Tasks : IP Phone installation/troubleshooting. Spares management and hardware lifecycle management. Skills/Qualifications : Technical Expertise : 3 5 years in deskside/IT support; familiarity with SCCM, ServiceNow, Okta, and MDM tools. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Office Suite, networking protocols (DNS, TCP/IP), and hardware troubleshooting. Experience with enterprise imaging, O365, and VPN support. Certifications : Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A) are preferred. Soft Skills : Excellent communication, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities. Requirements : Must relocate to Derby; strictly onsite (no hybrid/remote work).
