Area Sales Manager
Location: South West UK
Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum + £500 per month car allowance + performance bonus
Mercury Hampton is excited to be partnering with a leading company in the bathroom and plumbing products industry to recruit an Area Sales Manager for their team in the South West UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic sales professional to manage and develop customer relationships in a defined region, helping the company achieve its business objectives.
About the Role
As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
Managing, developing, and expanding relationships with both existing and new customers across the South West UK region.
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, while creating and executing strategic plans to meet KPIs.
Analysing sales performance, preparing reports, and providing tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
Delivering engaging and informative sales presentations to a variety of audiences.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and alignment with sales strategies.
Keeping up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and changing customer requirements.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be:
Confident, self-motivated, and results-driven.
A strong communicator with excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
Experienced in account or territory management with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Proficient in using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
A holder of a full UK driving licence.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
Knowledge of the bathroom or plumbing products market.
Technical product expertise.
