QC Lead – Scotland – Glasgow or Inverurie
up to £70k + package
Following a sustained period of growth and success, there now exists an exciting opportunity for a QA Manager with a proven history of leading the development, implementation, and accreditation of ISO 9001 & ISO 27001. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing operational processes and for ensuring that quality assurance and management systems are in place and regularly audited.
Responsibilities
1. Acting as the focal point during internal and third-party audits.
2. Instilling a culture of Quality Assurance across the business and ensuring all employees and contractors are aware of the QMS and their responsibility and role in its successful operation.
3. Monitoring and incorporating changes to quality compliance into project design and documentation.
4. Driving continuous QA improvement and offering guidance and support to internal and external colleagues.
5. Building relationships with stakeholders to establish methods and techniques to drive performance and enhance quality.
Minimum Requirements
1. At least 5 years’ QA management experience in the administrative/operations/project environments with the successful implementation of ISO 27001 & ISO 9001 as a minimum.
2. Experience of QA/QC in transmission and distribution and/or electrical substations.
3. Degree level education.
4. Professional chartership.
5. Qualified Lead Auditor.
6. Experience managing Quality across multiple sites/projects.
7. Stakeholder management experience.
