Role: Trunk Driver Salary: £28,554 plus £450 monthly Bonus Shift Pattern: 4 Days on / 3 Days off - rotating Licences: Driver CPC/DQC is required Location: Macclesfield (but travelling between our sites) If you're an experienced driver that loves Motorbikes, this is the job for you As a Trunk Driver you'll be getting your hands on some dream motorbikes on a daily basis, loading them onto our vans and trailer, then transporting them across the UK between our sites, making sure the right bikes are in the right place at the right time. Our Trunk drivers work 4 days out of 7, so you'll have 3 days off every week on a rotating basis. This role might require the occasional ovenight stay, but we'll put you up in a hotel. As one of our drivers, you'll also receive 2 weeks of training from our dedicated driver trainer, this means you'll be brought up to speed on things like bike handling and manourvering, the systems we use, what we do and how we do it, before getting out on the road by yourself. The precious cargo will need to arrive at its destination in pristine condition along with all documents and paperwork. So you'll need to make sure the bikes are loaded correctly and strapped in to avoid any scuffs, scrapes and general damage while they're in transit. To do this role, you'll need to have you CPC/DQC and Digicard and have experience of driving with a fully loaded trailer. Experience with motorbikes is also preferable, this is a physical job so you'll need to be comfortable with moving around multiple motorbikes and loading them on to the van using ramps.
