Field Service Generator Engineer
£30,000 - 40,000 (£45,000 OTE) + Training + Progression + Overtime
Covering Watford, St Albans, Enfield, Barnet, Harlow, Stevenage
On offer is the chance to join a service engineering team as a field service engineer working a range of generator sets at customers' sites.
Our client is a leading supplier of power generators ranging from rental, bespoke generators and static generators.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Carry out planned service and maintenance of customer's generators.
2. Conduct load bank testing on customers' owned units.
3. Accurately fault find and diagnose both mechanical and electrical issues.
4. Carry out site surveys when required.
5. Work alone on engines.
6. Log paperwork correctly and efficiently.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Strong customer focus.
2. Experience with mechanical/electrical engineering or diesel fitting.
3. Familiarity with electronic systems and mechanical components (including engines and alternators).
4. Proper engine technical skills in inspection and disassembly.
5. Utilization of the proper testing equipment for effective repair and maintenance.
6. Ex-Forces.

1. Salary £30,000 - £40,000 with OTE of £45,000+
