We are a fast growing company looking for a Finance Manager, supporting the accounting processes of the company.
Specific Duties:
1. Ensure timely and accurate production of management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheet, monthly.
2. Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared and reviewed monthly, and that all balances are complete, accurate and differences investigated.
3. Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company and management of cash flow.
4. Month end accruals, prepayments and reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
5. Monitoring, processing and approving of daily bank transactions and regular reconciliation of all bank accounts.
6. Overseeing sales & purchase ledgers, credit control, credit cards reconciliations, etc.
7. Completion and filing of VAT returns and dealing with any HMRC enquiries.
8. Completion and filing of CIS submissions and statements.
9. Being the primary contact for the external accountants, providing information and liaising with them to ensure year end accounts and all statutory returns are filed in a timely manner.
10. Manage, mentor and develop one team member.
11. Running monthly payroll using Sage 50 Payroll.
12. Management of the auto enrolment pension scheme including uploading information direct to the pension provider.
13. Processing income, receipts and expenses.
The Successful Applicant:
1. AAT qualified.
2. Experience on CIS Tax Reporting and 3-way reconciliation is a must.
3. Strong team player.
4. Very good knowledge on all areas of accounting and cash flow management.
5. Strong IT skills with experience of Sage 50 Accounts.
