Martech Engineer - JP Morgan/Nutmeg - London - 8 months contract - Hybrid - PAYE
We are seeking a skilled Martech Engineer to join Nutmeg, JP Morgan's Digital Wealth Management business, in London on an initial 8 months contract. The ideal candidate will work closely with Nutmeg's web and mobile teams to coordinate and execute a comprehensive cleanup of their marketing and data estate. This role requires a deep understanding of marketing technologies, data management, and web and mobile development practices to ensure marketing systems are efficient, integrated, and optimised for performance.
Job Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the web and mobile teams to assess the current state of the marketing and data estate, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
* Work with cross-functional teams to integrate and enhance marketing tracking with existing systems, ensuring seamless data flow to the necessary data destinations and communication between platforms.
* Design and implement solutions to automate marketing processes, improve data quality, and enhance reporting capabilities as part of the overall digital marketing strategy.
* Monitor and maintain the performance of marketing technology systems, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements/corrections as needed.
* Provide training and support to team members on the use of marketing technology tools and best practices for data management.
* Collaboration with third party vendors we’re integrated with to implement best practices/commons standards.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Martech Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of how to bridge the gap between marketing requirements and technical requirements.
* Proficiency in web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and experience working with web teams.
* An understanding for how SDKs integrate in the web and mobile estate, and how they feed into the Data systems we integrate with e.g. client-side and server side integrations/configurations.
* Proficiency with Google AdTech technologies, affiliations & campaigns such as Floodlight.
* Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Segment, Amplitude, GTM, Google Analytics, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) and data analytics tools in general.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
Nice to Haves:
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices for compliance.
* Certification in relevant marketing technology platforms.
*Please note that this role will be initially be working on a hybrid model of 3 days office based and 2 days WFH moving to 5 days onsite in the future.*
