The Physiotherapy team at Pulse are currently recruiting for a band 3 Physio Assistant at the Dorking Hospital. If successful, you will be working full-time hours from Monday to Friday. Physio Assistant need to demonstrate evidence of being able to prescribe aids for activities of daily living like bed levers, toileting aids, bathing aids, walking frames, walking sticks, chair raisers, and falls risk reduction advice. Experience in NHS would be desirable.

Duration: Possible Ongoing Contract
Essential skills:
1. Competent and confident in assessment for small equipment aids under the supervision and support of the qualified therapists
2. Registered with the HCPC
3. Rapid response admission avoidance – assessment for small pieces of equipment to maintain safety and independence to avoid admission to hospital.
4. Review / assessment of mobility and the provision of walking aids.
5. Rehabilitation in patients homes of urgent / routine rehab / falls patients.
6. Rehab / Rapid response
