The College Liaison Officer will provide a professional, positive, efficient, and comprehensive customer experience for all users of the Fire Service College (FSC), ensuring safe use of the site and facilities. You will be responsible for working with the external clients who use our Incident Ground at the college to conduct their own training. The role holder will ensure third party site users adhere to the FSC policies and procedures to deliver safe and compliant training. This multifaceted role will require working flexible hours, some of which are unsociable including a need for evenings, nights and weekends. The expectation of the role holder it to chaperone, assist and monitor our venue hire clients and ensure that all activities on the incident ground are done in a safe and controlled manner. Job title: Site Support Coordinator Job Description: What you will be doing: Supporting instructional staff to provide excellent customer service to our training delegates ensuring their needs are met. Being the link between The Fire Service College and clients and international delegates when they are using the site Providing support to the department and assisting in any daily tasks required to support the management and organisation of the FSC. Following the Health & Safety Policy for the FSC and ensure that venue hire contractors comply Ensuring safe practices and risk assessments are being followed within the grounds of the FSC. Making sure any accidents and near misses are dealt with correctly and recoded within the safety management system. Ensuring that other employees or persons using the FSC premises are not at risk from the venue hire contractor's works. Carrying out building safety inspections and ensuring that equipment and vehicles are used correctly whilst on FSC grounds. What we are looking for: Ability to work flexible hours which may include day, evening, night or weekends depending upon need. Possesses a good level of general IT literacy.
