About The Role
Hesley Group are recruiting for an IT Service Desk Analyst who will provide first & second line technical support to internal staff. The successful candidate will show an aptitude for working with applications/systems to undertake analysis, diagnosis and resolution of staff and people we support’s problems, which may range from straightforward to more complicated technical issues. You will assist the Head of IT to ensure that Service Level Agreements are met and maintained. You will also provide basic troubleshooting of network issues and escalate accordingly where required as well as assist with the ongoing management of an Asset Database and track asset changes and movements. You will also be responsible for regularly monitoring the security suite of software across desktops and laptops making sure this is installed, kept up to date and working correctly. There is also a range of administration duties within this role. Coverage includes the Headquarters site at Hesley Hall as well as remote users at other sites and home workers.
About You
To be successful in the role you will need:
1. Knowledge of IT best practices in relation to the maintenance, support and delivery of IT systems and services to include, but not be limited to:
2. IT Service Management
3. ITIL
4. Hardware, including network, desktop, laptop, PDA, printing and other peripheral devices
5. Software, including Microsoft desktop and office products, anti-virus, Internet filtering, system security and systems management.
You will also need experience in a front line IT support role and service desk team for at least 2 years as well as experience of working across multiple sites independently. As the main point of contact for stakeholders with day to day IT queries you will need to be an excellent communicator, organised and able to successfully manage and prioritise your workload.
