Teaching Assistants (Nursery)
At Woodside, we pride ourselves on our warm, friendly welcome and our community, who work closely together for the good of the families and children we serve.
We are looking to recruit 2 Level 2, Grade 3 Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated nursery team. You will need to have the recognised EYFS qualification for staff: child ratios for the early years setting.
Teaching Assistant (Nursery) Full time (Job vacancy reference: HVT 0491)
You will be appointed on Grade 3, working 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year. Your working pattern will be discussed at interview stage. You will be employed on a fixed-term contract.
Your actual salary range will be £17,178 - £17,463 per annum.
You will:
* Be an effective practitioner with the ability and desire to improve their practice
* Have high expectations of yourself and others
* Have a proven record of working in a nursery/EYFS environment
* Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Be highly organised, motivated and flexible with the ability to inspire and challenge children
* Be able to promote the vision and values of the school, demonstrating high professional standards.
* Recognised DFE EYFS Level 2 qualification for childcare ratio.
