About the role
As a Panel Beater with Steer Automotive Group, the purpose of your role is to repair and replace body components to damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition and to BSI PAS 10125 and manufacturer's standards, by assessing the best way to conduct repairs, using specialist body repair equipment.
You will be working in a team environment along with other skilled technicians, VDA's and customer service advisors, to provide a measurably different repair experience for our customers.
Responsibilities:
13. Repairing and replacing vehicle panels using industry-leading techniques and equipment.
14. Conducting accurate assessments of vehicle damage and developing repair plans accordingly.
15. Working with precision to ensure seamless integration of new panels and parts.
16. Utilising your expertise to achieve high-quality repairs and finishes.
17. Collaborating with other team members to meet deadlines and exceed customer expectations.
18. Maintaining a clean and organised workspace in accordance with health and safety standards.
About you
You will have previous experience working in an accident repair background as a panel beater or multiskilled technician.
To excel in this role, you will have:
19. Proven experience as a Panel Beater or similar role in the automotive repair industry.
20. Strong knowledge of panel repair techniques, including welding, filling, and finishing.
21. Proficiency in using relevant tools and equipment, including panel beating tools and spray painting equipment.
22. Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering flawless results.
23. The ability to work efficiently and effectively both independently and as part of a team.
24. Relevant qualifications or certifications (., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) would be advantageous.
