OBM are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to join our clients NORM team.
Roles & Responsibilities
General
* Ensure operations are delivered in compliance with HSSEQ, regulatory and internal standards
* Responsible for overall performance of NORM Solutions - P&L accountability
* Deliver service excellence as defined in KPIs
* Develop effective customer relationships - act as key account manager for NORM Solutions exclusive accounts
* Identify opportunities for growth; to introduce new products and services and cost leadership and cost efficiency savings
* Install and review appropriate key performance indicators to measure performance
* Maintain strong relationships with relevant regulatory bodies including regulatory reporting and auditing
* Provide and communicate clear direction to the team
* Provide staff with regular feedback on performance
* Report as required on operational activity, people and plant
* Ensure job packs are processed ready for invoicing
* The Company may require you to fulfil any other reasonable duties aligned to your position from time to time in line with business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering or a related field. Or extensive experience

* Support continuous improvement initiatives within the business.

HSSEQ
* In partnership with the HSSEQ department, ensure the continuous improvement of safety and environmental performance and compliance to all laws, regulations and industry standards/codes.
* Reports all incidents or breaches of policy or regulations to the line manager.
* Fully endorse the ASCO ‘Stop the Job’ policy and commitment to proactive intervention where an unsafe act or condition is observed.
* Adherence to the ASCO’s integrated management system ensuring document control and improvements to key processes is maintained.
