The mathematics department at Trinity School are a passionate and collaborative team, keen to enhance the learning and outcomes of students. We are looking to improve an already strong team. We have a strong curriculum vision for Mathematics and are looking for a talented and committed professional to help implement this in the classroom
In key stages 3 and 4 there are 7 classes in each year group, who each receive 7 maths lessons per fortnight. The GCSE exam board is Edexcel.
At KS5 our exam board is also Edexcel. We currently have one A-Level Maths class in both Year 12 and Year 13 and an additional Further Maths class in each year. Due to an increase in the number of students choosing to study mathematics at Trinity, both internal and external, we are keen to recruit both experienced teachers of A-level, and/or those with the interest in professional development to enable A level teaching.
About You
You will be committed to the development and progress of students, able to facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential and you will be the sort of person who enjoys a collaborative team working style, relishes a challenge and is resilient. We are open to applications from experienced teachers and ECTs. It is an advantage to be able to teach to A level.
