Job Requirements
* Support the delivery of audit assignments from planning to completion
* Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and Limited companes
* Preparation of corporate tax computations
* Support the wider accounts team, dealing with year-end and ad-hoc issues
* Assist with management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns where required
* Converse clearly and effectively using software including IRIS, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks
* Manage own workload, regularly updating Managers with work progress
* Champion your own professional development, proactively learning from the experienced team

The Successful Applicant
* AAT / ACCA / ACA qualified, part qualified or studying
* Qualified by experience also considered
* Proven track record of leading audit assignments within practice environment
* Strong experience managing a diverse client portfolio
* Good knowledge of audit software including Xero, SAGE 50, SAGE Business Cloud and Microsoft Office
* Experience using Iris suite is desirable, but not essential
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress
* A strong work ethic, time management and organisational skills
* Enthusiasm to learn from an experienced team and progress within the firm
* Hands-on attitude towards building client relationships
* Proactive problem solver with a keen eye for detail
* Able to work confidently with senior team members
