We're looking for an experienced, passionate Tenant Engagement professional who is a great communicator with the knowledge and experience of tenant engagement, who will support the delivery of the Tenant Engagement Strategy by developing and facilitating effective tenant participation, communication, and feedback so that the tenant voice is heard and used to improve service delivery. Ensure that the methods used are inclusive and accessible for all and tailored to meet specific needs of individuals, including those less represented in our communities.
You will have the confidence to build effective relationships with tenants, tenant groups, partners, and other agencies as appropriate.
You will support tenants and volunteers to enable them to set up community groups and constituted groups and empower them to initiate and sustain activities and projects in their communities, whilst supporting them to source funding and training opportunities.
You will be able to effectively monitor, measure, and report on the performance of tenant engagement and community activities, organize, facilitate, and support consultation surveys, analyze results, report findings, and share learning to facilitate continuous service improvements.
We are a small but responsive engagement team reporting to a Tenant Engagement Manager, part of a wider Housing and Neighbourhoods Team.
We're looking for somebody who is a real team player; reliable, flexible, adaptable, and able to work out and about in the communities. You will need to be self-motivated, able to manage your own workload, and prioritize tasks and duties, responding swiftly to the ever-changing demands within a social housing environment.
This is a flexible 3-day position as there will be times where your duties will be to attend evening meetings and weekend events to represent the Tenant Engagement Team.
