Respond to Maintenance/Repair/Refurbishment Issues as per the instruction from the Team Leader/Supervisor and coordinating the prompt completion such as damage reports to units being made safe promptly. To safely install, repair or refurbish furniture & equipment ensuring that all work meets company standards and is completed within approved tasking times. To have an awareness of the various equipment within the JCDecaux portfolio and to report faults to the relevant repair desks. What you'll be doing People Management and Development Ensure all allocated work is carried out in an efficient manner in order to maximise the day Ensuring you are adhering to company policies and procedures Open communication between line managers, team leaders, and supervisors To help maintain productivity during holiday periods and times of sickness Installation, Repair and Refurbishment technicians should be prepared to interchange between these working groups and should strive to excel within their own job group. When working on tasks not directly related to their own working group technicians should strive to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible. To maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of company vehicles to a high standard and to ensure that all vehicle related documentation is correctly completed and handed in on time. Adhere to stores booking in/out and stock management procedures. Accurately maintain daily worksheets and other necessary paperwork. Ability to work with modern reporting systems such as hand held devices Technical Monitor and control all materials used to ensure we have the most efficient and economic ways of working. Update management with any new ideas different ways of working Health and Safety Work to agreed SLA's and defined quality standards. Work within the safe systems of work. To work within Health & Safety guidelines and to ensure that all accidents, hazards and near misses are reported through their line manager using the appropriate paperwork. Ensure all operational practices comply with the current Health & Safety regulations. Undertake reasonable lifting duties. Comfortable with high level working - working at height within safety guidelines. Ensure that the correct issued PPE is worn when necessary. Ensure all required forms are filled in as per set schedule (Form 80s) and all other inspection forms relative to the job description. Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral. Supporting colleagues and team members, sharing information and best practices. Must be adaptable, flexible, committed and reliable. Communicate effectively both verbally and written skills. Ability to Influence others. Qualifications Two years' experience working on JCDecaux street furniture or similar Full clean driving licence. HGV License (would be an advantage) Literate and numerate in order to complete necessary paperwork. Competent in the use of hand tools and power tools. NRASWA, IPAF and PASMA (would be an advantage).
